Computrition, Inc. is currently looking for a strong business development professional with proven experience in developing new business opportunities within the non-commercial foodservice industry sector, primarily in healthcare foodservice. Reporting to the National Sales Director, North America, the successful candidate should reside in and have a good working knowledge of the hospital industry within the North East US and be able to manage all aspects of prospective client relationships and increase new clients with a focus on selling the flagship, Oracle-based technology solution and complete associated service offering.

POSITION:
Computrition, Inc. is currently looking for a strong business development professional with proven experience in developing new business opportunities within the non-commercial foodservice industry sector, primarily in healthcare foodservice. Reporting to the National Sales Director, North America, the successful candidate should reside in and have a good working knowledge of the hospital industry within the North East US and be able to manage all aspects of prospective client relationships and increase new clients with a focus on selling the flagship, Oracle-based technology solution and complete associated service offering. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently develop sales opportunities within the non-commercial foodservice technology sector, primarily within healthcare
  • Prepare, respond to and manage client proposals
  • Formally answer Requests for Proposals when applicable, and develop and deliver client presentations for an end-to-end, fully integrated, back-of-the-house foodservice technology solution
  • Lead the account planning and strategic development for targeted accounts while fostering relationships with prospective clients.  
  • Travel will be required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-Secondary education coupled with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales roles preferably in selling healthcare applications (systems solutions) and/or foodservice industry products of a technical nature to non-commercial foodservice industry prospects
  • Solid understanding of product support and professional services and of software solutions
  • Proven experience in analyzing customer/prospect requirements and aligning prospective customers’ business requirements relating to all areas of foodservice IT services will be essential for this role
  • Strategic account development experience
  • Proven experience in solution and/or foodservice product selling
  • Consultative selling style
  • Proven prior knowledge or experience in foodservice operations, the workings of a healthcare facility, a production kitchen and/or related software systems will definitely give a potential candidate the inside track on this opportunity
  • Entrepreneurial approach to market segment(s) and/or territory
  • Self-motivation with a determination to ‘close the deal’
  • Superior communication, presentation and listening skills
  • The successful candidate must be able to work with other sales representatives be able to direct a highly qualified and professional corporate support team, when and where required, in the sales process with each prospective customer
